About the Garden

Tea Garden is located in Kvenobani, Guria, in western Georgia. It is a lovely place in the foothills of the Little Caucasus. The garden is well accessible and was still being used a year ago, so it was properly cared for. The garden is next to a forest where wild, uncultivated tea trees grow, and they can also be harvested. There is plenty to do at the Garden. Plus, it is in a great location! It is just an hour's drive from the airport in Kutaisi to which you can easily find cheap flights from many airports (Prague, Wroclaw, Katowice, Budapest, Vienna, etc). You just get on a plane in the evening, and in the morning you can have breakfast among the tea trees.

At the garden there is approximately 4200m2 of tea trees, part of which will be divided into 100m2 sections available for renting, and the rest will be accessible for visitors.  We will be gradually building facilities, a field kitchen and providing tools. But one thing at a time, the budget is still quite limited. During the first year, we want to focus on the production of white and black tea. Then we might get pans for making oolong and green tea.
