2018
August/September - For the last time we are visiting the garden. The last harvest will be made and then the Garden will have to get prepared for winter. Winters in Georgia are mild and rainy, and the trees can easily survive on their own. The only problem is that they might be a lot of weed and bracken growing over the trees, so we will have to do lots of weeding again.
July - We had a great time at the Garden, several volunteers and owners who have rented a part of the Garden have come since May, and we did hell of a work here. We build a mobile toilet, field kitchen, little cellar to store food, well, etc. And of course we weeded the Garden, trimmed trees and harvested and made a lot of tea - mostly black, but we experimented with other kinds as well. For now we let the garden rest until the end of August, when the last harvest of the season can be made.
May 25 - We have reached the target sum in the Hithit project. But it is not over - with every extra coin, we can improve the garden better and faster. If we manage to collect enough money, we would like to buy a car (an old Zigul, which are abundant in Georgia, would do). It would spare us many troubles with logistics, whether it is fetching groceries or tools and materials , transportation of people to and from the airport, and even small trips around for those who would like to take a break from making the tea.
May - We managed to get the support of the Czech Development Agency for the Garden project - it will bring more stability to the project, but it also brings further requirements.
May 10 - The Argonautea Caravan expedition sets for Georgia from the Czech Republic - it should arrive around 15 May, and it will be building garden facilities and make the first large harvest. The garden will then be populated until at least mid-June. You can see details of the Caravan expedition on our Facebook page.
April 30 - We launched a campaign on Hithit, you can find us there and support us by choosing one of the nice rewards.
